This is DJ, Tyler, Katie & Courtney throwing buckets of water on each other. They had so much fun. Well, Tyler wasn't too happy after all three of the girls ganged up on him. But it was hot and they cooled down!
Kit is Royanna Fritschmanns Summer Sass.

Niagra Falls, 1996

This is a photo I took while Greg and I went on vacation to Niagra. It was a good getaway for us. Maybe we should go back there again someday.
DJ stayed w/ my mom for the weekend and well Tyler wasn't born yet. Anyway, I remember I had to sneak to get really close enough to get this photo. They had signs all over for people not to get too close to the water, but I thought the pic would look neat, so I got closer than I should have.
The kit is Janelle Paige, Little Man. The heart is by EvaK designs.

Play Ball

This is Tyler pitching for the first time in Little League. He pitched two strike outs, then got hit in the nose. So not even a full inning. I was so nervous for him.
Kit that I used is the daily scraps "Boy mega kit". Used jafar Designs Born to Ride.

Summertime Fun

Well I got one page done this weekend. I was hoping to do more, but got caught up in trying to organize some things on my computer. Nothing else exciting happening here. Nascar is in town, so we are pretty busy when that happens. I mean the town is busy. I try to avoid it all. I like Nascar, but there are so many people here in town.
Today is fathers day, We went out for brunch this morning it was delicious. Greg took a nap, so I got the page done.
I used Traci Sims, Melon in Paradise. Sketch used is from 2 Inspired Divas.

Unwritten

Here is another quick page I put together for a crop. The lyrics are from "unwritten" by natasha beddingfield. Love the song. The page is pretty neat, you can see DJ going from baby to young lady... wow, time flies.
Kit is Stacey Kluczny, sweet as sugar, at 3s.

Jump

Hello again!
I did another page for a crop and thought I would post it for ya. This is DJ jumping off the diving board at the local gym place we go to. She loves to jump, but she is still a little scared. She wears the life jacket and plugs her nose. I am not saying anything bad, cause I am not jumping off it so good for her. She will get her confidence up someday and take that jacket off. She just isn't sure of her swimming skills yet. But she swims really well honestly. Oh well, she will figure it out someday!
I used Cheryl Whitesel's Surfs up kit from the daily scrap.

Tyler pitching

I took this one last week. Tyler pitched one inning before getting popped in the nose. He had to come out then. He did pretty good. He had 2 struck out, then threw a wild pitch. He ran to cover home plate and the catcher flipped the ball to him, well he took it in the nose... But not so bad. I was really nervous for him.
I used Bannerwoman's Journey page kit and I scraplifted the LO from Chocolatte at Digital Freebies.
Have a good week!

Playing around...

Hey all (tina & mom)...
I had a few minutes today so I decided to try some new stuff. This one is of DJ in May 2000. I remember it was so hot that day we let the kids play in the sprinkler.
I used an over lay from Bad Candy and word art from Angi Jones "happy". I did the coloring/sketching just by playing around w/ photoshop. DJ even said it was pretty neat.
Alright, gotta take some pics of my flowers and will post more again.

My smiley girl

I love this pic of DJ. She had so much fun in this hat. My mom bought it for her for like 3 bucks! She wore it the whole weekend! May 2001, up north.
I used thescrappinggarden's grand opening mega kit for the layout.
I also loved this quote: Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time.

A volleyball pic of DJ

This one is DJ digging (sorta). She is getting to be competitive like that. I cant wait to watch her grow into a psycho player (like me).
I used GottaPixel's bath time daily DL for the papers and Merkeley D template (the star/arrow).

Aww, my vacation is over...

Well, it was a great weekend. Tyler had a baseball tourney... they lost both games so didn't advance. Tyler got hit by a pitch on his hand. I wasn't there, so I didn't see it. I am glad I didn't see it. I worry about that stuff all the time.
DJ had a vball tourney in Dearborn again. It was the State tournament. Their season is now over. They did so well. They got 2nd in the silver division. The team got medals. so that means they ended up somewhere in the top 20 in the state out of like 50 teams or so. That was pretty exciting. She played great... had a good spike and a few great digs. I was proud. She has learned so much this season. She is pretty excited to get better.
I finished a layout for the day... it is a lift from s2g and I used Tamera Dantes over lay from Hiccup and kit is May's daily download from doitdigi.com.
Well, back to work for me. Have a great week!

Thanks for looking and I would love a comment if you have time. Just so I know someone is looking!
Have a great weekend...

My dad's Trike

Well I did this one with a freebie kit from Sue Bond called Father Kit. It is for a crop at sotb.
Today was tough, I went to go get DJ's coach and Tyler's teacher Thank you cards, so I looked at the fathers day cards. I try not to let it bother me but it is hard when I am reading through them. I just keep reading them, wishing I could buy one for my dad. It has been 4 years almost. Still seems weird. I am not the type of person that dwells on things for too long. So as quick as it comes, it goes. But just for a second I smile to my self, or sometimes I get a burning in my eyes. I never let the tears come though. (cause I am weird)! It just depends.
Well here he is on his trike. He called it half a hog. It was half Harley and half something else. He had it made so he could get on it. It was hard for him to lift his leg because his hip replacements. He liked it pretty well, but not as much as he did his Sportster.

Me all dressed up

Ok, this is just about as dressed up as I get... I dont like to dress up and try to avoid it as much as possible. I did a quick page about it for a challange at Scrap2gether. I used Sue Jones' Mayer kit.

Grandma Rose

I got another page done today. This one is Grandma Rose holding DJ when she was 12 hours old. Rose and Mike came to see us in the hospital the very next day. Grandma Rose is that grandma that gives the kids pudding and whip cream and icing and popcicles and anything that will get all over their clothes. No matter what, just dont take your kids over to grandma rose's in new clothes... they will not return that way.
Kit I used is Cheryl McCain Innocence from The Scrapping Garden.

Big Sister

Hello, still on vacation. Still trying to get some stuff done for DJ's vball team. I have been working on it every day this week. I might get it done today. I have all this video and am trying to cut it up and make little movies for each of the girls. Boy what a job. Also it has to be done by Saturday. I am so glad I am on vacation!
I did another page. This one is DJ feeding Tyler. She was so proud of herself. Poor Tyler, she kept shoveling it in... he couldn't keep up. I told her all babies are messy eaters. Now to find that picture of her when she was eating....
I used The Scrapping Gardens opening week crop kit. What a nice place. It is cheerful and a good little digi scrap site.
Thanks for looking.
